Glamor Shots - Toshiba Qosmio X775 notebook

At last, some new Glamor Shots for you to peruse over - this time showing off my latest notebook acquisition, the Toshiba Qosmio X775-3DV78. This high-end 17" gaming notebook has some decent hardware under it's hood, and aims to continue where the X305 and X505 left off. Exactly how good is it? Stay tuned next week for a full review here on lgpOnTheMove.

Lid closed - the new textured finish is impressive and doesn't attract fingerprints

Front - SD card slot and status lights

Left - AC jack, vent, VGA, RJ-45, HDMI, USB3.0/2.0, USB2.0

Rear - Battery and lid hinges

Right - mic, headphone, USB2.0, USB2.0, BD/DVD/CD burner, kensington lock slot

Bottom - access panel, vents, subwoofer, battery latches

Access panel removed - dual hard drives and twin RAM slots

Open the unit up and the textured finish continues

I wish all 17" notebooks had a perfect keyboard layout like this...

...especially because this one happens to be back-lit!

Toshiba also throws in some 3D glasses for movies and games

1920 x 1080 @120Hz - it may not be IPS, but the viewing experience is very nice

Crysis 2 - ultra settings, DX11, high-res textures, 1920 x 1080
